Our story
Rumginae School of Nursing has a rich history dating back to the 1960s, evolving from its roots as a training center for enrolled community health nurses. Though the school closed in 1996, it was revitalized through collaborative efforts of the Evangelical Church of PNG, provincial governments, and partners. Today, RSON operates as a fully recognized School of Nursing offering both a Diploma in General Nursing (DGN) and Certificate IV in Community Health Worker (CHW) programs.
